Beatrice Perry is a London-based designer. Having studied History of Art at Trinity College, Cambridge, Beatrice took a short course in pattern cutting at Central Saint Martins. She had intended to go straight into fashion, but became immersed in the art world, which she loves, and spent three years working with an old master paintings dealer. This was followed by a stint with outerwear designer Katherine Hooker, after which Beatrice started working on the creation of her own eponymous label. Inspiration comes from daily life in the city and from travels; from vintage and antique fashions or special requests; and of course, when sourcing beautiful fabrics that are comfortable and kinder to the environment.
